I wanted to introduce myself as a new writer here on Battery Acid. Previously I was the Admin at The Conduit Information Center, but now I will be solely writing for BA. You will most likely see me around here posting about games, as well as possibly doing some reviews and interviews.
With me comes this sites very own forums. You can start posting by clicking the link below to hop to the forum page. In the future you can navigate to the forums via the link on the side bar.
I finally got it uploaded, enjoy. Also five ‘Splosion Man related posts in a row, now that’s something.
I’m changing my name to Greenyz from now on. I want something somewhat more unique. GIAFGC stands for Guy in a floppy green cap. Despite myself being a huge fan of the series I want my name to connected to myself rather than to a video game. Thus I’m changing it to Greenyz, a name I usually use on the Internet outside of GIAFGC.
Oh and expect some more ‘Splosion Man stuff. There’s a lot of media and I didn’t want all of it on one post with the PR stuff.
There’s nothing really wrong with that but still I still want to do interviews and stuff. Anyway here’s sketches I drew for my animation class.
It was with another blog, The Pakistani Spectator, about blogging and such. You can read it at their site. It was nice not having to ask for some content and actually being the person interviewed for once.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the read.
I mean I’ve seen better artsy and more stylized and professional flash creations but there’s always something these random fun for the sake of fun that always gets to me.
It doesn’t make me say “Wow what’s the meaning of this?” or “What an interesting plot.” It’s just random but not stupid random.
I don’t know maybe I’m just interpreting this thing all wrong.
Basically what the title says. I’m contemplating on whether or not to post them all at the same time but I might. I’ve also had a bit or a problem recently. For some reason whenever I try to post up an image FireFox crashes. Ugh…
Yeah made it myself this time. I don’t know who the random character is but I have like two more random characters I’ve made too.
Another interview! More Wiiware. This time we get some answers from Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes about their upcoming Wiiware game, Super Meat Boy. This time I didn’t have to wait a bunch of months to release it.
Well I have the day off from school today and I got both my first press release and my second new interview! It’s sad that I accomplished almost as much in a few weeks than I did with all those months planning on that magazine. Whatever I’m happy!
Yeah. It looks bad. It looked slightly better but when uploading the banner it has to follow a certain proportion which is really really annoying. If anyone cares I used http://www.mybannermaker.com/.
I could actually make it fit the proportions correctly but I’d have to spend some money.
Yeah sorry Casey if you’re reading this I know you’re in charge of this graphical stuff but this guy’s really good. His site is here.
Yup it’s over! This is all the stuff left that I think should be in. There was another interview but his game’s already out and most of the interview had to do with exclusive junk while it was in development. I had a few reviews but I hate writing them and they were, in my eyes, poorly written. Then there were the jobs of the other members. I lost contact with everyone except Casey so well yeah…
But now it’s time to move on and look forward to new stuff! I’m already trying to contact a guy working on an XNA project. I’ve actually tried to interview him last year but he’s always busy for some reason.
I’m planning on interviewing one person/development team for every downloadable service for the home consoles. I’ve already got Wiiware, I’m trying to contact that guy for what possibly may be XBLA, and I’m looking into someone for PSN. I’m still going to interview games for the PC too. So don’t think I’ve forgotten all you inexsistant readers of my blog who play indie games on the PC.
Yeah well blogspot just didn’t have the features I wanted. I always did like WordPress I just didn’t know that they also offered free hosting
