At GDC it was revealed that the 360 version of The Grinder, previously a Wii exclusive first person shooter, is now a top-down shooter. I got the chance to get answers back from David Pellas about what’s up with the new version and what’s happening with the Wii version.
XSEED explains why they decided to localize Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny (I always thought it was Samurai Showdown) and the recent trend of reversible boxart covers.
I finally got to play and review the game and boy was it wonderful. Despite having such simple gameplay mechanics it manages to keep itself interesting and at times difficult
I’ve wanted to do this for so long. I have the game I just need access to an Xbox 360. Things in my life that are out of my control are inhibiting from playing the game or having a 360 at the moment so please don’t think I’m just lying. I’m sorry for those who have expected one by now.
Another interview with Twisted Pixel! This time with TWG’s CEO/Co-founder, Michael Wilford. What I love about indie developers is that even the highest, most important people still talk to nobodies like me. To all indie developers that have spoken with me, stay cool guys!!!
Who would have thought a ‘Splosion Man music video has been lost for so long. Coincidentally the game will soon be released on XBLA on July 22. Crazy!!! Don’t forget to buy the game.
I’ll hopefully have a review up for it sometime after it releases. Yeah no early review for me since I’m a new video game blogger without any recognition, so I have no 360 dev kit.
I got invited to try out the ‘Splosion Man game at Twisted Pixel’s booth and I could have had my chance to have my first face to face interview. Oh darn maybe next year. Maybe by then ESA will accept me and my site. Oh ❤ you guys (Twisted Pixel) for giving me these screens. I didn’t even have to ask.
I finally was able to reach a developer ready to have an interview that does something other than WiiWare. Finally. I never wanted to specialize in WiiWare but I’ve found WiiWare developers to be easier to contact and interview. Anyway here’s an interview with Twisted Pixel Games’, Jay Stuckwisch about their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game, ‘Splosion Man! It’s a bit short because these guys are really busy with the game and I didn’t want to take up too much of their time.
