Drop In/Drop Out: 3DS Edition

3DS Edition

Greenyz (Francis Basco) and BigGumby (Dustin Grissom) have both had their 3DS’ since launch (Greenyz went to the midnight launch!).  Although some people may not be as impulsive as we were when buying the next generation Nintendo handheld, there are some people out there that may still be questioning whether now is the time to buy a 3DS, or if there even is a time at all.  With this feature, Greenyz and I (BigGumby)  are hoping that we can put your worries to rest, and help you with your lingering question: Should I “drop in” or “drop out” of getting a 3DS?  To do this, we are going to run through all of the key features with the system, including the user-interface, the hardware, the built-in software, it’s online offerings, StreetPass and SpotPass, the eShop, and, of course, the 3D effect.  So, let’s get started!

Baka to Test to Shokanjuu features some Nintendo cameos/references

So yeah originally I decided not to really mention this since I was a bit lazy but thanks to the fact that I now know that the Power Glove appears on the show I’d thought I might as well post it.  So yeah this new anime, Baka to Test to Shokanjuu, seems to make reference to Nintendo more than once.

Behind-the-scenes | Metroid: Other M

Once in a while Battery Acid gets some pretty juicy stuff to report about and today I have something awesome to show you guys!  For a while now I’ve known some small bits of info related to the upcoming Nintendo game, Metroid: Other M.  I’ve been talking with an insider for some time about what’s up with the development.

I’m not saying I know much about the game though.  In reality I’m about as clueless as those outside of the major media that attended the recent Media Summit.  What I do know though is that at least the cutscenes have changed from what we’ve seen from the E3 trailer, according to my inside source.

I don’t have much media to show you at the moment but let’s take a look at what presents I have today!

More in store from XSEED

I once again contact XSEED to get info on pre-order bonuses related to their upcoming games and what’s in store for the rest of the year.

“In terms of pre-order bonuses, do you know about the Lunar Collectors Edition?  Or how about the exclusive Ragnarok Online accessories for your online avatar by pre-ordering Ragnarok DS at participating retailers?  We are also currently looking into a pre-order bonus for Fragile Dreams as well.”

And yes, we have some titles beyond Q1 which we haven’t announced yet.  We will probably make an official announcement within a month’s time or so about our upcoming lineup.

Co-op Mega Man? That sounds familiar…

As some of you may know Mega Man 10 has recently been announced for WiiWare with the added twist of being co-op.  When I heard this news I remembered how bad of a player I was for not completing Mega Man 9 but I soon remembered that the rumor of a two player Mega Man sounded eerily familiar.
